TAKING BACK AMERICA. Once more, our Liberty News TV team covers the Take Back America conference in Washington, D.C. We were the ONLY television program to have a staff on hand covering the full event. The major networks showed up only to cover the speeches of celebrity candidates Barack Omama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. We went deeper, interviewing real progressive thinkers--including Thom Hartmann (right), Katrina vanden Heuvel, and (just prior to the show) Howard Zinn. The big question: How should progressives respond the when the new democratic majority seems unable or unwilling to stand up to the increasingly corrupt, lawless and sometimes fascist Bush-Cheney administration? Can politicians save us--or must we first save ourselves?
